The Secrets of the Tramuntana

Walking holidays with guide in summer 2024

A trip in Spanish language

The northwest of the largest island in the Spanish, Mallorca, provides a quiet and traditional landscape away from the busy tourist centers in the south of the island.

Emerging abruptly from the Mediterranean Sea, the 400m vertical cliffs that extend to more than 1000m in capricious ridges and large masses of limestone rock, form the spectacular relief of the wild Serra de Tramuntana.

Through medieval paths that pass through the forest, the coast and the mountains, we will find everywhere, vestiges of old traditional jobs in the mountains, already lost in time. We go through the dry stone terraces that treasure ancient olive trees or orange and lemon trees bathed in the sun. We visit beautiful villages, towns and traditional ports in the mountains, as well as remote pebbled coves and crystal clear waters where we can bathe and embark on spectacular voyages.

This is a trip where the comfort and strategic location of accommodation in the picturesque Port of Sóller prevail, along with the best walking routes in the Spanish Mediterranean.

A memorable trip!

The summer season happens to be a good time to walk in Mallorca. The central hours of the day are when temperatures are high and the sun hits the surface with more intensity. Therefore, as a precaution, we are going to start activities early in the morning in the pursue of the most suitable hours for physical exercise, in order to be able to leave the heat of the day for swimming in the sea, lunch and rest.

Accomodation & meals

The accomodation and the meals are also and important part of the trip, so we have chosen a hotel in Port of Sóller which is comfortable, functional and offer a good location.

Eden Nord Hotel *** has modern facilities with many elements renovated in 2020. It has rooms that are equipped with all kinds of comforts, a seasonal outdoor pool with a solarium, mixed rooms, a bar and a restaurant.

The buffet-style breakfast at the hotel will surprise you with a variety of Mediterranean and international foods to choose from.
